Issaquah-based veterinary telehealth startup Felix&Fido launched Thursday with $4 million in its pocket. Felix&Fido is calling the funding a "pre-seed" round. The company said the funding will go toward building Felix&Fido's pet care models, which will include in-home, virtual and in-clinic care. "This funding allows us to bring our veterinary service model to life and provide exceptional care to pets and pet parents," Gavin Woody, CEO and co-founder of Felix&Fido, said in a release. Felix&Fido aims to provide more continuous pet health care than traditional veterinary clinics by providing virtual and in-home services in addition to in-clinic services.
